Friday, 5th December 2025, marked another unforgettable chapter in the ongoing education outreach of the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA, Honorable Akinola Abiodun Idowu, as he embarked on Day 3 of his tour across primary schools within the LCDA.

As early as 8 a.m., pupils gathered in neat lines at their assembly grounds, eagerly anticipating the Chairman’s arrival. The atmosphere was electrifying, filled with excitement and joyful anticipation. Once Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu arrived—accompanied by his entourage—the school complex, which includes Saka Tinubu Primary School, Yewa Primary School, and Araromi Primary School, erupted in songs, chants, and praises from the pupils who were thrilled to welcome him.




Present during the visit were the Head of Information Department, Mrs. Adebukola Bankole, officials of the Education Department, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Wale Fayemi, Hon. Afolabi Omotunde and other ward councillors, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Olufemi Babatunde Tijani, as well as media teams including Agbajowo Media and Akin Dodo Media, which provided full coverage.
In his address to the pupils, Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu reiterated that the purpose of his visit—and the donation of writing materials—was to provide relief and motivation to every child in the community. He encouraged the pupils to stay focused on their education, reminding them that education remains the key to success.




He passionately warned them against vices such as smoking, drug abuse, cultism, hooliganism, rascality, and all negative behaviours that derail young people from achieving their dreams. He urged them to be disciplined, well-behaved, and a source of pride to their parents.
The Chairman also shared his personal story, drawing from his humble beginnings. He explained how he came from a poor family that struggled to give him an education—yet through determination and learning, he has risen to become the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA. His testimony inspired both pupils and teachers, reinforcing the message that no dream is too big when one is committed to education.






He further announced that new sets of furniture for pupils and teachers have been fully prepared, and starting next week, they will be distributed across all public primary schools in Orile-Agege LCDA
A brilliant pupil, Okope Emmanuel of Saka Tinubu Primary School, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, appreciating the Chairman for his initiatives, visits, and dedication to educational development.

At each location, Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu interacted warmly with the pupils and teachers reassured them of continued government support.
Accompanying him throughout the visits were the councillors, the Head of Education Department, Mrs. Ogunyakin, the Education Secretary, Mrs. Ogunyomi, the Education Department staff, the Information Department led by Mrs. Adebukola Bankole, and the various media teams.
