
MAYOR HON. AKINOLA ABIODUN IDOWU (DODO) SPREADS JOY WITH EID-EL-MUBARAK FOOD DISTRIBUTION IN ORILE-AGEGE LCDA

In a remarkable show of compassion and leadership, Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu (popularly known as Dodo), the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of his people. To mark the joyous occasion of Eid-El-Mubarak, the Chairman distributed food packages to citizens, residents, and faithful across the LCDA, ensuring that no loyalist and faithful was left behind in the celebration.
The distribution exercise was not only extensive but inclusive, reaching party faithful, executive members, stakeholders, management staff, community leaders, religious leaders, artisans, market men and women, person’s with disability, and youths across Orile-Agege LCDA. The initiative fostered unity and strengthened the bond between the council leadership and the grassroots, reflecting the Chairman’s belief that governance must be people-centered and community-driven.
Food packages of varying sizes, 50kg, 25kg, and 10kg bags, were shared among beneficiaries, catering to households of different capacities. This thoughtful arrangement ensured equitable distribution and allowed families to celebrate Eid with dignity and joy. The gesture was widely applauded as a practical demonstration of leadership that prioritizes the needs of the people, especially during festive seasons when communal support is most cherished.
